Who We Are
IPL Cricket (iplt2026.cricket) is an independent, fan-built platform dedicated to providing comprehensive coverage of the Indian Premier League. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Indian Premier League, or any IPL franchise.
Our mission is to deliver fast, accurate, and beautifully presented cricket information to fans worldwide. We believe every cricket fan deserves access to live scores, detailed statistics, and quality analysis — regardless of where they are or what device they use.
What We Offer
Our platform provides real-time IPL coverage including live scores refreshing every 30 seconds, ball-by-ball commentary, complete batting and bowling scorecards, over-by-over summaries, points table standings, Orange Cap and Purple Cap race tracking, ICC rankings, player profiles with career statistics, team squad information, match schedules, venue details, auction data, historical records, and breaking cricket news.
All match data is sourced from the Cricbuzz API via RapidAPI and delivered through a high-performance Cloudflare Worker backend with intelligent KV caching. The frontend is built with Astro, React, and Tailwind CSS, deployed on Cloudflare Pages for global edge performance.
Data Sources & Attribution
Match scores, player statistics, and cricket data are sourced from the Cricbuzz Cricket API available through RapidAPI. IPL news content is sourced from the Latest IPL News API. We do not claim ownership of any match data, player images, or news content provided by these third-party sources.
Team names, logos, and franchise information are trademarks of their respective owners. All IPL-related trademarks belong to the BCCI and the respective franchise owners. Use of these names and marks is for identification and informational purposes only.
Open Source
This project is open-source and available on GitHub. The Cricket API Worker backend, frontend client library, and the complete website source code are freely available for developers, cricket enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to build cricket-related applications. We welcome contributions, bug reports, and feature requests.
