The TATA IPL 2026 season features 74 matches played across approximately 60 days, from late March through early June. The league stage consists of 70 round-robin matches where each of the 10 teams plays 14 games — seven at their home ground and seven away. Weekday matches typically start at 7:30 PM IST (2:00 PM GMT / 10:00 AM ET), ensuring prime-time viewing across India. Weekends feature double-headers with the first match at 3:30 PM IST and the second at 7:30 PM IST. The schedule is designed to maximise viewership while giving players adequate rest between games — teams generally have 2-3 days between their fixtures.
Venue Rotation
Each franchise has a designated home ground where they play the majority of their home matches. Venues include Wankhede Stadium (MI), M.A. Chidambaram Stadium (CSK), Eden Gardens (KKR), M. Chinnaswamy Stadium (RCB), Arun Jaitley Stadium (DC), Sawai Mansingh Stadium (RR), Punjab Cricket Association Stadium (PBKS), Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (SRH), Narendra Modi Stadium (GT), and BRSABV Ekana Stadium (LSG). Playoff venues are decided by the BCCI and are typically held at neutral grounds or stadiums with the largest capacity.

Rain & Schedule Changes
